Making Financial Connections is a new online, self–paced training opportunity consisting of five modules:
- Part of Society – a customer service module about working with individuals with disabilities, covering communication, accessibility, and outreach. Available now!
- Taking Your Credit – an introduction to various tax credits persons with disabilities are often eligible for, as well as information on how to access free, quality tax preparation. Available now!
- Your Money, Your Choices – important information on budgeting, saving, and credit. Available soon!
- Back to Work – an introduction to various work incentives from the Social Security Administration and Medicaid that will help a person with a disability who wishes to rejoin the workforce. Available soon!
- Building a Strong Future – information on asset-building programs that can help a person with a disability save for the future, often without affecting his or her eligibility for public benefits. Available soon!
