Our private non-profit organization serves 24 cities and towns in the seacoast region of New Hampshire. We’re part of a statewide system that provides and arranges supports for children, adults and their families. Our staff of 200 works to assist people in northern Rockingham County to reach their full potential, by providing service coordination and family support services. Through our Futures programs we provide trusted direct supports for high school transition, education, employment, residential and community services. Further program choices are available from 17 agencies that subcontract with One Sky.

SCHOOL TO WORK SUPPORT STAFF – FT/PT – Northern Rockingham County

One Sky Futures has immediate openings for 20-30 hours/wk, Monday –Friday for School to Work Support Staff working with young adults transitioning from high school to adult life. Our goal is to provide quality services that support people, while helping staff develop their careers in this field.

To be eligible, you must possess a minimum of an Associate’s Degree, a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance policy and submit to a NH Criminal Background Check, a driving record check and a BEAS check. An agency paid Tb test must also be complete prior to start date.

We are looking for a candidate to provide community support services as a direct care provider in the Portsmouth/Exeter area, M-F, 20 hours per week.  Ideal candidate has compassion, sound judgment, patience and the desire to make a difference in the lives of those with disabilities, who are living independently.  Previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities and/or traumatic brain injuries ideal, but we’re willing to hire the right candidate.   High school diploma/GED required as well as a valid drivers license, proof of auto insurance, reliable vehicle, criminal background, BEAS and driving record checks.   Employer paid Tb test required prior to hire date.   Must be 18 years of age.

We are accepting application for a Direct Support Professional for a full and part time positions working at both of our local group homes (Newmarket and North Hampton, NH).

Job Objective: To provide assistance to the individuals in the home and community to develop and enhance basic living skills, personal decision making, social skills, safety skills, a healthy lifestyle including good nutrition, and rights and responsibilities as citizens.

Education Requirements: High school diploma required, Associates degree preferred. LNA background preferred, but not required.

Skills Required: Experience with tube feeding, behavioral challenges, CPI or Mandt training helpful.

Other Requirements: Valid drivers license, reliable vehicle, proof of auto insurance, satisfactory criminal background check, driving record check. Tb test required within 30 days of hire.

Pay is DOE – range is $12-$13.00/hr with additional hourly stipend for those who have successfully completed the Direct Support Professional certification course.


GROUP HOME DSPs NEEDED – ON CALL PER DIEM –  North Hampton & Newmarket

Work with people with physical disabilities and behavioral challenges. Seeking someone experienced with personal care for individuals with quadriplegia, using Hoyer lift, wheelchair lift and tie downs in a handicapped van, communication devices and standers.

Must be available for at least three shifts per month; 7a-3p, 3p-11p and 11p-7a $13/hr

Work with the Controller and other members of the organization to manage the financial strength of and minimize the financial risks to the organization.  Billing and Accounts Receivable Specialist is the individual within the organization responsible for ensuring that we receive cash for all Medicaid eligible services delivered.  This position will also be responsible for non-Medicaid billing as well,

Responsibilities Include: Accurately bill for all services delivered by One Sky Community Services on a timely basis.  Prepare all appropriate journal entries.  Process and apply all cash receipts to the appropriate general ledger accounts.  Manage accounts receivable and proactively ensure that ALL pending and denied claims are resolved and cash is received on a timely basis.  Bill for all Medicaid eligible services delivered using NH Leads.

Skills Required:  Two or more years experience managing computerized billing and accounts receivable.  Prior work experience with Solomon financial management and FRX reporting system a big plus.  Mathematics and analytical aptitude necessary as there will be much calculating and prorating of revenues with varying service levels.  Strong Microsoft Excel skills are a must.  Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Access and Word also required.

Education Requirements:  An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related profession is highly desirable.  Four years experience can be substituted for educational requirements.

Other Requirements: NH Criminal Record Check, BEAS check, Driving Record Check and Tb test.

This is a full time, benefits eligible, non-exempt, hourly position supervised by the Controller.  Hours are 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday.

This client has a very active mind and needs a support staff able respect her choices and support her in multiple activities and environments. A Portsmouth, NH family is seeking someone to assist in the care of their 12 year old son with autism. Duties would include assisting in activities of daily life such as: bathing, toileting, tooth brushing, cleaning his room, cooking/baking, practicing social skills in the community, and from time to time going to the pool to practice swimming – with flotation devices.

The benefits of this position are the joy of helping a loving, kind, young boy with autism learn everyday skills. Experience working with individuals with autism is a plus, but we will train the right candidate.

A family in Greenland, NH is looking for someone to provide a variety of daily responsibilities and activities with and for our 22 year old daughter with developmental disabilities.  Position responsibilities include some meal prep, job support, transportation, schedule coordination and engaging in peer social and/or community activities.  Activities vary per day and per week.  Our daughter is kind hearted and pretty consistently upbeat.  She loves singing to the radio, following baseball stats, swimming, cooking, crafts and enjoys staying busy.  We are looking for someone who can interact with her as the young adult she is developmentally, while supporting her navigating through her week, including her work.

Hourly wage is $12-14/hr.  Schedule is M-Thurs in the range of 7:30a-3:30p for a total of 23-26 hrs/week.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, creative, and compassionate person to join a young woman from Nottingham NH who is affected by a developmental disability. You will be providing one-on-one home and community-based supports. You must be willing to explore opportunities wherever they may lead, enjoy meeting new people, and believe people with disabilities can and should lead full happy lives.

This position requires a high school degree or equivalent. The ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently as documentation is required. All applicants must have a valid NH driver’s license, auto insurance and submit to a criminal record, Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services and motor vehicle check.

The ideal candidate must be flexible and able to work with minimal supervision. It would be beneficial to have experience providing direct support and be able to adapt to changing environments. Transportation is required for this program and will include travel throughout the surrounding areas. This is a 20 hour per week program Monday thru Friday. Scheduling has potential to be flexible but this young woman needs to be driven to work by 4pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. Rate of pay will depend on experience.

Duties include picking this young man up from school and taking him to pre-planned after school activities 9-15 hours per week, 3 hours per day.

Experience with behavioral issues preferred.  Client’s interests include going to the gym, fishing and being outdoors.
Ideally, looking for a positive male role model who can provide positive behavior protocols.
Hourly wage is $13/hour plus mileage.

Meetings are held from 5-7 in the evening, on the second Monday of the month,10 times a year (light supper served) at our Portsmouth office. We should have twelve members on our Board. One Sky Community Services is a New Hampshire private not-for-profit corporation, one of ten Area Agencies designated by the state for the purposes of planning, creating and maintaining a comprehensive service delivery system intended to maximize the community integration, growth and independence of people with developmental disabilities in the 24 cities and towns of upper Rockingham County.
