One Sky seeks a talented primary contact specialist to greet visitors and callers at our busy Portsmouth office.

The Front Desk Coordinator manages an automated multi-line phone system, screens and refers calls, takes and distributes messages to staff through voice mail or e-mail. Also responsible for processing incoming and outgoing mail, ordering office supplies, filing and typing for various departments. Excellent listening and verbal communication skills are required. The Front Desk Coordinator is expected to demonstrate patience in understanding the spoken communications of clients and strive to assist clients in connecting with the appropriate staff member.

The successful candidate must have good organizational and prioritization skills. Attention to detail and accuracy is essential for performance of all tasks. The maintenance of confidential information is an essential responsibility of this position.Basic to intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills are required. Ability to lift up to 30lbs.

This is a full-time 40 hour a week position – Monday through Friday 8:30 to 4:30, with an hourly rate of $11.50.  Must have own transportation. A criminal record, driver record and proof of auto insurance coverage of 100/300 is required; employment is contingent on satisfactory results.

The Board of Directors of One Sky seeks a new Executive Director. One Sky is designated by the State of NH to provide services and supports to people with developmental disabilities or acquired brain disorders to live as valued and participating members of their communities. Two hundred staff and fifteen subcontract agencies provide services to over a thousand individuals and families. In operation since 1983, funding of $21M is primarily from federal and state sources.

Qualified candidates will have at least six years of senior management experience, at least two in developmental services, with the demonstrated ability to lead a large, complex organization. The Executive Director will have vision and inspire confidence in a time of change and uncertainty while assuring positive outcomes for those we serve. Must have extensive knowledge of short- and long-term strategic planning, business management, building relationships, and administration. Excellent communication skills are required. A master’s degree in Public Administration, Public Health, Business Management, Human Services or a related field is required.

One Sky seeks energetic and flexible professional to advocate and coordinate services for adults with intellectual disabilities and/or acquired brain disorders who live in the Seacoast area.  Emphasis on facilitating the development and monitoring of a service plan to meet individuals’ interests and needs.  Strong interpersonal, computer and organizational skills are essential.  This is a benefit eligible position. Bachelor’s degree and 3 years case management experience a must.

Seeking a DSP to make a positive connection with a young woman in her twenties affected by a developmental disability.  She is currently living with her parents; however, living on her own is a future goal.  She will need assistance in independent living skills including: grocery shopping, cooking and budgeting. Looking for a DSP to make a positive connection and promote healthy social skills and friendship.

Hours: Mondays and Wednesdays, 12-4pm; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am-4pm. (Total = 22.5 hours/week Monday-Thursday.

Pickups and drop-offs in Nottingham, NH, with the exception of Mondays when drop-off would be in Somersworth, NH. Travel in and around the area is required. A travel stipend of $10/day is provided.  Hourly rate of pay is $14.50.

She desires someone who “gets” autism, loves animals, is not afraid of dogs, will allow and encourage her independence, has a good, “earthy” sense of humor, is easy-going, and isn’t an “excessive talker.”

Individual resides in Deerfield and participates in activities between Stratham and Derry, NH.  Flexible hours, up to 28 hours a week with daily gas stipend.  This could also be a shared position, so if fewer hours are desired, please respond.

A family on the NH Seacoast is looking for a personal care attendant for a 17 year old male with physical disability who enjoys music, computer, and social interactions. Candidate must be reliable, caring, motivated and physically able.  Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities – transfers, use of adaptive equipment, preparation of meals, toileting, and interacting for up to 16 hours per week including Saturdays.  Experience preferred though willing to train the right person.  Hourly rate of $12.00


Full time position for an energetic and flexible individual to assist families of individuals with developmental disabilities access state and federal benefits and provide service coordination to families of children with developmental disabilities ages 9-13. Strong interpersonal, computer and organizational skills are essential. Bachelor’s degree and 3 years case management experience expected. Knowledge of community resources and networks in Rockingham county a plus.

This is a 40 hour per week salaried position with an hourly equivalent of $16.22/hour. We offer earned time and benefits.

Immediate position available. Assist a 24 year old man working toward independence after a Traumatic Brain Injury. Will be required to assist in personal care and therapeutic exercises.


Seeking an energetic and attentive person to assist a 65 yo female who is very active and fun. 12 hours/week with some flexibility.


Residents require personal care and wheelchair transfers. Preferred applicant will have background providing day programs with strong belief in supporting self-determination. Prefer experience working with medical needs and behavioral challenges. LNA or CNA experience helpful. Temporary shifts available in both homes.

Full-time shift in Newmarket:

Sat & Sun 3p-11p; Tues, Wed & Fri 7a-3p This position offers a 50 cent/hour shift differential for working overnights and weekends.

Part-time shift available in North Hampton:

32 hrs/wk, Mon – Thurs, 11 pm – 7 am awake.


Full time Team Leader for small staffed residence for young men with complex medical needs. Must be available to work flexible shifts Sun – Wed. Team Leaders are Direct Support Professionals who have a leadership role in the home. Looking for someone with CNA experience, experience in using Hoyer lifts, standers, augmentative communication devices and wheelchair accessible vans.

Duties include training staff to ensure health and safety of individuals and home, maintenance of staffing schedule and ensuring people are active participants in their community. At least 2 years of direct care experience as well as supervisory experience required.

HOME PROVIDERS – Northern Rockingham County

One Sky Futures seeks people interested in opening up their homes to support individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting with aspects of daily living such as shopping, exercise and cooking. Compensation is in the form of a monthly stipend. Minimum monthly documentation required.

We welcome community-minded individuals to join One Sky’s volunteer Board of Directors when our numbers fall below twelve. Meetings are held from 5-7 in the evening, on the second Monday of the month,10 times a year (light supper served) at our Portsmouth office. We should have twelve members on our Board. Volunteers must reside in upper Rockingham county.

One Sky Community Services is a New Hampshire private not-for-profit corporation, one of ten Area Agencies designated by the state for the purposes of planning, creating and maintaining a comprehensive service delivery system intended to maximize the community integration, growth and independence of people with developmental disabilities in the 24 cities and towns of upper Rockingham County. We provide some services directly, and also provide funding to agencies such as the Richie McFarland Children’s Center, Easter Seals, Great Bay Services, and Living Innovations.
