Currently we are looking for the following open positions:
Direct Support Professionals
One Sky is looking to fill part-time positions ASAP, to assist teenagers in developing skills of independent living. Areas of travel may include Northwood, Deerfield, Raymond and the Dover/seacoast area. Both year-round and/or summer season. Up to 30 hours weekly. Experience in special needs/education a plus. We are especially seeking outgoing and creative thinkers.
We are also seeking an energetic, well organized Direct Support Staff Person with good communication and planning skills to support and motivate a young woman with developmental disabilities 20-30 hours weekly. The setting for services will be located between the communities of North Hampton, Portsmouth and Exeter. Staff will provide support to this individual in the community, on the job, in her volunteering position, and implementing other activities of daily living. No personal care or lifting needed. Must have reliable transportation to transport to and from activities. Will be reimbursed for mileage. Hourly rate between $11 – $15, depending on experience.
One Sky also needs staff in the Dover and Exeter areas to support two women with developmental disabilities in building community and social skills. Early evening and weekend hours are available, approximately 4 to 15 hours a week.
Also available: Temporary part-time summer positions for 6 to 24 hours a week in and around the seacoast communities, assisting students with disabilities who are making the transition from high school to adult life.
Auto insurance, TB test, driver and criminal background checks are required for all the above positions.

Home Providers
Home Providers needed for individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting with aspects of daily living such as shopping, exercise and cooking. Compensation in the form of a monthly stipend. Minimum monthly documentation required.

Opportunity for mature couple to share life in a single-family, three-bedroom home located near the heart of Portsmouth, with a 25-year-old man who has special needs. Free rent, monthly stipend, and shared expenses (utilities and food) are offered in exchange for support, companionship and mentoring in home and daily life routines.
Position is part of a whole-life, family-managed program. Roommates work as part of a team in support of this man.
